Church Warf
a brief visit.
Church Warf in Accrington - with Mike having some quit time.
This is just yards short of being exactly half way between Leeds and Liverpool. Just in front of the houses in the above picture, is a large sculpture proclaiming this is the half way point, so we know. This is one of the places we only know from the canal. We (I) have passed here now on 7 occasions, and on 2 of those occasions we have moored for the night. You will see from the pictures that on one of those times Josh stayed as well, on the bank! we had 4 adults on board already. At the time we were on the way back, but we had taken several days to get there, but Josh cycled it matter of a few hours. The next day he left for Wiggan or some other Lancashire town, while we aimed for Bank Newton (Gargrave)
While we were there, we saw these,a little family of swans
the continuing story.
