Group picture - of us all.
Address: 113 Gough Road, Edgbaston Birmingham.
When my parents took started running the hostel in 1957, it was a brand new project, that had been just set up. I would have been about 6 years old, and my brother only 2.
We had just moved down from the West Ridding of Yorkshire, from a more isolated area, a mile to our nearest neighboroughs, to city center Birmingham. Personaly it felt like moving from
one desert region to another, rather than rocky out cros we had man made out crops of one sort or another. All to be explored.
