Like most people, we had a love hate elationship with Brum. Like many people you just end up there thinking you will just stay awhile and then move on, but don't move on.
In our circle of friends, nobody was born in Brum or had relatives here. We had plans to go else were, but children come along so you waite and then promotion and other comitments.
I came to Birmingham in 1970 (again) and Sue 1977, we both had plans not to stay we eventually left in 2004!
