Going South for the Summer
Day 29, Sunday 14th August 2011
Nantwich - You never know what you might meet?
Nantwich - Laundry day!
Lazy day for Robert - Sue feels energetic, goes out for a walk, while I take one or two pictures. Sue discovers, the marina and the fact that it has a laundry! excitement!
So she comes back, bundles or sorts of things into a big bag, and says follow me in a bit, I could not have looked convinced, because she then says there might be a nice cup of coffee and perhaps a sandwich in it.
So Sue scuttles of, and I catch up with her as she is leaving the laundry, it seems she was in a hurry as the laundry closes earley on a Sunday. So while the clothes are washing we investigate the cafe.
It looks very pleasant, and we indulge a light snack and drinks. Sue goes after a while to get the laundry while I finish my coffee and read the paper. We also take the opportunity to go round the chandlery, and then walk back round to the boat.
We have a light tea, (batteries seem a bit flat, have not done much charging over the last day or so.) Sue has managed to restrain her self all day from doing her jigsaw, so we stay up later than normal, drinks (but not on the table -its all been used by the jigsaw! and so to bed.
Notes on progress. Passed through: No movement today.
Passed by: Nantwich - moored there last night. Nantwich - moored for the night.
