Where we had dawn given a service,

Noticed during the normal morning engine check that the engine oil was looking rather black, as well as the engine sounding rather rough.  So we gave a ring to RCR, to see what they recommend. They suggested that we needed a engine service as the oil had got to hot at some point, and offered some phone numbers of people who may be able to help. Though non of them seemed that close to us.

We needed to a empty the toilet tank, so we cast off and chugged of under the road bride just in front of us and into the BW marina. The pump-out was was a self service system, paid for by using a card, at a price more than other places charge to do it for you?? But when you are full, you are full, and you gota go.

While we were there we asked if there was any where we could get the engine serviced, they gave us a card for a place just a couple of miles further on.

We gave them a ring, and the best they could do was the following Wednesday, I said I would get back to them. We left the BW marina and chugged of. Within half an hour we had reached the boat yard so we moored up, and I took a walk to go and have a chat to them. They were very helpful, and said they could squeeze us in for Monday morning, considering it was Saturday, that was good.

Josh rang his friends in Wigan, and soon had his bike out and heading off  to stay with them for the weekend. That left me and Sue, we had a second breakfast and set of to explore the locality.

Adlington proved to be an interesting little village that seemed to sprawl some way, but had a good range of shops and services. We even found a sign saying ice cream shop? Decided we would pay a visit when we left.
