the Llangollen steam railway station.

Travelling back from

Aberystwyth (actually Dyfren Castell) to Keighley (W. Yorkshire). Stopped of at Llangollen for a lunch break. (Had passed through some years ago when the children were young.) Llangollen seems to be caught in a time warp, very little seems to have changed, except the price of the public conveniences.  It was reported some time later that they were now making a loss, because nobody was using them, due to the high charges, more like taking a fiver than a penny.
