This village is very popular with tourists, particularly walkers. it sits on the Pennine way and the Leeds and Liverpool canal. Not far from Hallam Cove and one or two other beauty spots.
We know it best as DAWN is moored not far away, so we have slightly more than one or two shots of the place over the years.
As it is on the canal we had a few visits before we had mored the boat there.
In September of 2007 my brother was her so we took the boat out from Gargrave, to go for a drive and return to Gargrave, under the pretext that we neeed to refuel her?
Summer 2007 - Sat and Robert are on the boat together for about aweek, while Sue is of doing something (probably yoga) with Sat's partner.
In 2008 (February) British Waterways decieded they need to drain the canal where keep the boat, so we moved NB Dawn down to Gargrave and we gave a hand to NB Innis Free. A week later I went back to check on NB Dawn and took a few pictures.
In July of 2011, we managed to organise a trip from Gargrave to Kildwick with some friends.
2014 - January: We came twice, or rather I did. The first time both me and Sue came to check on the boat at the very beginning of the month and make sure NB Dawn was OK. In middle of the month I came by my self (by bus) which takes all day. But I do get to have a nice cup of coffee at the cafe in gargrave. As it had been rain quite alote, and I took some pictures of the swollen Aire.
2015 a trip to see the boat in April. and a few more outings during May.
Please give a heading.
