There was a junction many years ago (1944), but one of the canals (The Shrewsbury Canal) has now been closed (abandoned) and filled in. Leaving just a straight through route. You can see the end of the filled in canal, under a canal bridge, now used to moor boats.
In 2011, we arrived here from Brewwod, with Richard still with us, giving extra support along the way.
