May Day Boat Festival - 2nd May 2011
Skipton Waterways Festival 2011 took place over May bank holiday - this has come annual event of Skiptons calender over the recent years. Each festival has a theme, this year it is films. Boats taking part in the festival are dressed up according to the festival theme, and awarded points. Also the boats take part in a late night prossession through Skipton, done up in lights. Winners find out by the end of the festival.
