Josh at a friends birthday party.
Ivis first had a flat in Moseley in about 1970 while I was at College in Lancashire and I stayed there during the holidays. A few years latte she moved to a small house in Harbourn.
Moseley is on one of the main arteries out of Birmingham, the comes out of Birmingham through Basall Heath then Moseley and on to Kings Heath and finaly to the Maypoll and the motorway.
Two of our three houses were in this area, one in Kings heath and the final one in Moseley. So it was a familiar place for many years.
Moseley always had more interesting but small shops than other areas and only WHSmith of the chains existed. There was a Druckers (think cream with not much cake!) before it came part of a chain,
I believe it was there original shop. For many years I had hand made shoes from a small shop, and there was the renound Prometheus book shop which also housed Benetheus clothing shop, below.
