Bank Newton Bottom Moorings
This is an inspection of possible new moorings for NB Dawn.
We have been on the mooring list for 4 sites for nearly a year, then we get this letter from British Waterways ,saying we have a fortnight to say if we would like to take up the offer of a mooring at Bank Newton (near Gargrave).
These are a few pictures we took when we went to check out the site.
We decided that the location was very attractive, though it had no facilities, except a water point and was on the towing path side. So we ended up taking the offer, so you will find lots more pictures of this location.
