We limped into Norbury, or at least came in very slow. We had called out the Canal Rescue engineer to look at the engine, as it had just stopped in a cloud of smoke.
The engineer came and looked at but could see nothing wrong. So we slowly carried on to Norbury, all the while the engineer watching, we were both worried by the smell, very acidy but that and the smoking cleared. So he put in some magic potion, in case it was dirty fuel and keft us.
