The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
Our local heritage line.
Josh waiting patientley for the train.
The railway starts in the valley below our house, that makes it sound quite close, it is probably just over a miles walk, and we can often hear the engines puffing in and out of the station from our house.
In 2010 a relative of Henry's, of the Kennington clan, a McRae came to do England. As part of the English tour he came, Henry and Ivis brought him up to stay with us. The plan was to go on the steam trains up to Howarth and go to Haworth, lunch and go back via the train to Keighley and home. All the 2010 pictures are of this outing, to see these click the link below. To see us in Haworth click the link at the bottom.
