Year 2009 sneaks in!
Another year another dime!
Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station on a cold January, with the water vapour giving interesting effect.
January: We start the year in Beeston, and we were having normal January weather, so we had a short outing to Trent Lock, which is not to far from Beeston, see us here . . . March: We go for a walk with the promise of a coffee? tricked, it was closed. April the extended family met up at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, see us here . . . The meeting that me and Sue attend, has had a new lawn laid, and other work done, so I spent some time making a record of the new garden. August we strolled round Bingley Five Rise Locks (one of the 7 wonders of the water ways.) and sampled the coffee and cakes at the five rise locks cafe, see snaps here . . . I must have had time on my hands this month, I spent some time at home trying to get pictures of the little birds that flutter around the house, (next time I'm going to try and pictures of big birds? might be easier, see my efforts here . . . Also in August my brother Richard was up and we went out to Wycoller, it is just over the border in that other place Lancashire, it used to be a forgotten village, but now has expensive house, see it here . . . A bit further afield we went all the way up to the Wensleydale to the railway there and had a day out on it. September: October we walked round Bingley, historicaly it has quite history, here are some quick snap shots for you . . . November I was persuaded to do some dogy sitting? see the story here . . On the way back from county Durham, we came over the moors and into Askrigg.Out at our boat NB Dawn, spend some time on here, run the engine to charge up the batteries Keep the continueing dripping at bay, and went and took some pictures, see them here . .
