Year 2019
The year starts well with Ivis's 90th Birthday.
Trent Lock in February.
The new year started with Ivis in hospital due to breaking her hip on Christmas day. Had it pinned with a plat and screw to keep it all together??? Was tranfered to a rehab unit in a cae home, with intensive physio etc. and was soon home. Managed the stairs well on her birthday up and down. Henry organised a good birthday celebration for her, so a encouraging start to the year.

January
Once Ivis was stabalised in hospital, the hard work of mobilization started. Ivis was very luck in that she was sent to a rehab unit based on top of a care home. This was NHS run with the cae home do the caring etc under there guidance. Physiotherapist worked with Ivis an hour or so aday and instructed the staff on how to encourage her to move about, transfere etc. While we were in Beeston seeing Ivis, I also looked round the place and went over to Trent Lock (In fact we all went for lunch before seeing Ivis. Back home, towards the end of the month we had a little bit of snow.

February
The heigh-light of the month/year was Ivis birthday (90) which was brilliantly organised by Henry, to which anybody who was anybody came. The Tuesday group had a meal out. Rachael, Josh and Charlie came up and we all went out in the snow and broke the ice at Cliffe castle (and then somebody had ice cream! and it wasn't me! We also all went out to my favourite place in Skipton to eat, and someone was not sure about the mushy peas! After this the rest of the month seemed quirt, visits to Cliffee castle to eat and days in Skipton round it off.

March
A hectic month, seem to be buzzing around to a variety of places, flowers are popping up every where you look, especially daffs. Engines, trains and trams are seen alot, perticularly due to going again to see Ivis in Beeston.

April
This month I spend quite alot of time on Dawn, chugging up and down the canal localy. Mostly between Skipton and the Five Rise and often leaving Dawn in Kildwick. Me and John even made an unschedualed stop at East Riddlesden Hall for lunch as the electrical power was out near there and it had put the swing bridge out of action. Bluebells don't seem to be so good this year, peticularly in what we call bluebell wood. Other flowers are good most places especialt dandilions, I have been told I should apreciate them more, so i have.

May
Look out for the puff ball! In the front garden. May day bank holiday weekend is Skipton Festival, alot of boats, stalls and some rides. The steam railway is having a diesel weekend. I seem fasinated by plants this month, especialy mine? There is a 1940's weekend in Haworth, in other words it looked like normal but with just more people. There was filming in Saltaire, so that was dressed up as well so you could not recognise it? Besides that there are more boats and plants growing everywhere and a visit to Skipton Woods.

June
More messing about on boats takes place, perticularly going up to Gargrave, Gargrave is always a nice place to be, especialy the little cafe there. Parkwood is good to walk through at present, as mentioned the meeting house gardens are in a lovely state at present. Saltaire is proving to be stimulating at present for taking pictures and John has taken me to Colne on a circular trip.

July
This month seems to be about flowers. I seem to be caught up in taking pictures of every flower I come across. Must be a good July! Just to break that up slightly, there are a few boats as usual and a visit to Halifax to look at the Peice Hall (which is absolutly brilliant - a must see), which in there some where anongst all those flowers.

August
A visit to Huddersfield to go to the dentist, enough said about that! Richard brings Ivis up for the weekend, we go to Bizzie Lizzy's as usual in Skipton and go round the Dales the next day, visiting the farm shop near Airton and driving past Malham Tor to go to Settle for afternoon tea at the museum (becoming our favourite place at the moment. One weekend John takes me over to Haworth and there are the visits to Dawn (and the first pictures with her new solar panels on) besides going to Hebden for classes this month.

September
At the begining of the month John takes me to East Riddlesden Hall for afternoon tea! and we pop in the Great Barn to see what they are doing with it. (and it's free) Charlie, Josh and Rachel come up for a few days and we go on Dawn as part of a day of me and Josh giving Rachel a day off, we also go to Cliffe Castle to the childrens play area and of course the cafe. With John we all go up into the dales for the day stopping of in Settle for nurishment and the museum cafe. During the month the Tuesday Group starts meeting at the Rendezvous Hotel as a new location as we can no longer use Manorlands. At first every one feels rather nervouse, but it seems to be working very well.

October
Except the massage this month, which was brilliant as always this month (thank you pip) it has just been the regular classes: Monday - Hebden Bridge - Dance, Tuesday - Tuesday Group, Wednesday - Hebden Bridge - Mediation(group), followed by a personal session, Thursday - Leeds - Dance, Friday- Free? Saturday - Free (Usualy I am socialbly and do something with John.) Sunday - Meeting and often followed by Singing. So the usual culprits of plenty of food and coffee is abound.

November
November is my birthday and the week before John had his and we ended up celebrating them in November this year. Richard came up and acted as driver to take us out. The custom is that we go out and have fish and chips, the only question is where? This year we went up to the Lake District for them. The next day we went up into the Dales and visited Pateley Bridge. Otherwise the month was the normal round of classes to go to. We won't mention trains, bad timetabling or just not running.

A single flower, there was one on every table in the Coffee House in Keighley Market.
December
December! there is only one thing important in December, Christmas at Ivis and Henry's and it was good as usual. After Christmas my brother took us all out to Moira Furness on the Ashby Canal. Leading up to Christmas there was all sorts of get togethers, food and singing, and even just one or two pictures of them!!! There was a day dance workshop at the end of the year but there are no picures of that, never mind folks!
