During the summer months regular weekly classes stop and this is an opportunity not only to keep up with your Yoga but also to experience a variety of skilled teachers in a beautiful setting. Laycock Village Hall is both accessible and blessed with views of the countryside.
This year classes will be on a Tuesday evening, starting on 24 July and finishing on 21 August. Each week will be taught by a different teacher, all accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga. It is not essential to book; there will always be enough room if you turn up on the night. We also welcome beginners – bring friends and family to introduce them to the benefits of Yoga.
We have a special event lined up for the final evening – Dances of Universal Peace led by Libby Snape (Nalini). These dances are similar to Circle dancing and include simple chants from various spiritual traditions (previous experience is not necessary). The movements are simple and repetitive, like a moving meditation – a beautiful experience not to be missed!
Please bring a mat and a blanket, and cushion/blocks for sitting.
There will also be a stall selling yoga books and C.D.’s etc.
